Abstract:

Objectives: deviant behavior has become a global issue of great concern and requires immediate attention. This study aimed to investigate the course of life concept development in students inclined to deviant behavior. Methods: This experimental and empirical study was performed by a structural correlation as a quasi-experimental design in 2019-2020. The study setting was the Belgorod National State Research University, and the target population was the students aged 18 to 21 who tended toward deviant behavior. The samples were selected based on real groups’,involvement and polar groups’,isolation and comparison. The variables were the correction program aimed at developing personal notions about the life path in students and the qualities that make up the content of the “, temporary”,and “, value-semantic”,aspects of the subjects’,notions about the life path. Data on deviant behavior were collected using the questionnaires of a tendency to deviant behavior and the deviant behavior questionnaire of Robinson and Bennett. The structural equation modeling, partial least squares method, and SmartPLS software were used to validate the original model and test the hypotheses. Results: Only 27% of students tended towards deviant behavior (group 1), and 73% were normal students (group 2). The students in group 1 had a higher tendency to nonconformism (P≤, 0. 01), moderate Inclination to addictive behavior (P≤, 0. 01), and more aggressive tendencies (P≤, 0. 01) compared to the students in group 2. Also, in the students in group 1, “, present”,and “, past”,times were described as joyful, light, real, close, calm, voluminous, bright, and active, but “, future”,time as passive, motionless, empty, little, flat, petty and narrow. In terms of valuesemantic measurement of students’,life concepts, the students prone to deviant behavior did not have meaningful purposes in the future that give life meaningfulness and direction. Discussion: Based on the study findings, a higher tendency for nonconformism, addictive behavior, and aggressive tendencies was found in the students with a tendency to deviant behavior. Also, these students lack meaningful purposes in the future that give life meaning and direction, and they live for today or yesterday. It is suggested that the correctional and development work under a program aimed at the personal course of life concepts development reduce the students’,Inclination to deviant behavior.

Abstract:

Aims Health deviant behavior of many of today’, s youth is a serious problem for modern society. The present study aimed to examine the causes and consequences of health deviant behavior and identify the main strategies to overcome this problem. Participants & Methods This study is mixed research (qualitative and quantitative) conducted on 21 May 2021 in a group of students aged 16 to 18 years with health deviant behaviors. So, the purposive sampling method was used to select subjects (N=142). A researcher-made questionnaire was used, and students were asked to answer the questionnaire anonymously, enabling more honest responses. The collected data in the quantitative part of the research were analyzed using the SPSS 22 software using the Pearson correlation test. Findings There was a significant positive correlation between health deviant behavior and vulnerability to the negative peer influence (r=0. 69,p<0. 01). Relatively weak and negative correlations were found between self-esteem and health deviant behavior (r=-0. 13,p<0. 001) and between vulnerability to the negative peer influence and self-esteem (r=-0. 16,p<0. 001). Conclusion The main reasons for health deviant behavior appear to be biological, psychological, and social. Psychological reasons lie in temperament and accentuations and the interaction of the teenager with society, family, and school. Thus, the reasons for health deviant behavior can be reduced to the characteristics of the individual, the conditions of the social environment, education, upbringing, and social activity.

Abstract:

In today's organizations, considering the bureaucracies and the competitive atmosphere that exists, attention to the feelings of people, especially the feeling of jealousy at work is of particular importance. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of envy at work on employees' deviant behavior. This research is applied in terms of purpose and is a survey-descriptive in terms of collecting data. The statistical population of Isfahan Steel Technic Co. employees was used by simple random sampling. To analyze the collected data and to conduct the research, PLS 2. 0 software was used. The statistical population consisted of 300 executives and experts of Isfahan Steel Technique Co., and 90 people were evaluated using simple random sampling for analysis. PLS 2. 0 software was used for conducting the research. The results indicate that jealousy at work and its components have a positive and significant effect on deviant behavior. Since jealousy at work causes deviant behaviors in the organization and cause damage to the organization's core body, attention to employees' feelings, such as jealousy, is important. Therefore, the organization and management, taking into account the system of proper performance evaluation and considering the equal conditions of each person's performance is properly investigated and the results presented to everyone so that if there is any ambiguity to prevent any behavior that could harm the organization in the future. Management can, by organizing the organization's culture, tell employees that everyone has the ability and skills to compete with others instead of jealousy and move in one direction in order for the organization to succeed. Controlling the sense of jealousy at a reasonable level can be in the best interest of the organization so that employees can compete with each other to increase productivity, and if they do not pay attention to the feeling of jealousy, employees may be in violation of their partner's failure and it leads to the organization's failure to compete.

Abstract:

One of the most obvious causes of deviant behaviors is considered deficiencies and material weaknesses in the economy. As a result, the degree of spiritual and cultural factors are neglected. In this paper, the relation between the most important component of the "culture of poverty" (as a concept has been developed in the literature) and behavior of marginalized urban women are examined. The study sample included 383 women, including victims. Through a questionnaire, information about them has collected. Based on the findings, "addiction", "suicide", "theft" and "prostitution" in order of priority, are the frequent in the studied area. There have been a number of attributes in theory of poverty among victim women and families. In fact, the attitudes and behavior of the so-called culture of poverty include disciplinary, commitment and total avoidance of women have led them to certain injury. In clearer words, poverty is affected by cultural factors, including economic chaos, social apathy, family chaos and despair.

Abstract:

Objective: The purpose of this study is to highlight the concept of organizational deviant behavior by reviewing previous studies and understanding the dynamics of these behaviors. It also wants to provide a comprehensive picture of this trend and provide a valuable insight into the status and aspects of research on deviant behaviors in Iran and help to guide future research to cover existing research gaps in this field. Methods: By Meta-Synthesis approach, a combination of the findings of the quantitative and the qualitative studies was used to design the final pattern.Accordingly,90 studies in the field of organizational deviant behaviors, related to the objectives of the present study were reviewed using the seven-stage model of Sandelowski and Barroso(2007).By content analysis of these articles, and summarizing, combining and interpreting their findings, the relevant dimensions and codes were extracted to provide a comprehensive, new and original picture of organizational deviant behaviors by developing a new model based on antecedents. Results: By the pattern of deviant behaviors 279indicators in the framework of 26 themes and 4 main dimensions were identified. The proposed model has the main dimensions of individual, organizational, Environmental factors, and the central phenomenon. In this research, Organizational factors with15 themes and157 indicators have the greatest extent. Limitations: deviant behaviors are conceptually broad. Some articles are relevant in terms of Main text and irrelevant in terms of title and keywords. Therefore, not all articles may be reviewed. Practical Consequences: Introducing the antecedents of deviant behaviors in Iranian Organizations. Innovation: Organizational deviant behaviors have been studied in most studies in the form of Robinson and Bennett classification. The present study examines these behaviors with a close look and provides a new classification of these behaviors and a comprehensive model of its antecedents in the country.
